The installation process consists of the following steps, shown in detail after this list:
Our GNS installs as a popup by default. Click here for instructions on how to load it within flight sim. If you would like our GNS to be automatically installed into the 3D cockpit of a C172/C182, please purchase A2A Simulator's C172/C182 trainer first.

1. Purchase the Software

If you haven't yet purchased the software, please visit our online store. You will be unable to register or activate the software until you have submitted your payment.

IMPORTANT: When the installation is complete, the G1000 files are copied to your computer's hard drive, but the panel will not be visible in Microsoft Flight Simulator until you complete the remaining steps in these instructions to activate the G1000.
4. Register and Activate the GNS 430/530 GPS

In the default C172; the Mindstar variation of the plane, GNS is a pop-up gauge which must be access through the flight sim menu.  The GNS gauge embedded in the panel of the plane will have a blank screen since it's not to be used.

See these instructions on how to install the GNS as a pop-guage into any aircraft.
